My ocean spray leans a lot, I have to prop it up. I'll have to see if I could cut it since it has a weeping habit. The native plant which is in the Borage family restrains itself at the end of a bed, but the herb Borage self-sows in that vegetable bed and tries to take over the whole area.Hannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04773149110503024929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1495323991307537519.post-85511926781270004932014-06-28T07:26:16.872-07:002014-06-28T07:26:16.872-07:00Hi Hannah-- Wonderful to see your Northwest native...Hi Hannah-- Wonderful to see your Northwest native plants, especially the Ocean Spray, one of my favorites -- I've never seen it on anyone else's blog before. When the flowers are just budded they are wonderful in bouquets, something I learned from a gardener-florist. And you have given the borage a whole vegetable bed to make the native insects happy-- it reminds me of me and the rufous hummingbird...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1495323991307537519.post-64537169161864314152014-06-27T22:49:03.787-07:002014-06-27T22:49:03.787-07:00Thanks, Leovi, the fireweed gets bigger every year...Thanks, Leovi, the fireweed gets bigger every year.Hannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04773149110503024929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1495323991307537519.post-47507460365976667302014-06-27T04:42:08.315-07:002014-06-27T04:42:08.315-07:00Thanks, Betty, I don't know much about New Zea...Thanks, Betty, I don't know much about New Zealand native flowers.Hannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04773149110503024929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1495323991307537519.post-15179447118465177342014-06-27T04:40:44.599-07:002014-06-27T04:40:44.599-07:00Thanks, Pat, I lived in Denver for 6 years, I espe...Thanks, Pat, I lived in Denver for 6 years, I especially loved the alpine wildflowers, such exquisite little tiny flowers.

Hannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04773149110503024929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1495323991307537519.post-22733358922082362902014-06-27T03:10:08.495-07:002014-06-27T03:10:08.495-07:00Those are some amazing flowers.
