Thanks, Lea, it does its photos justice. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs in the spring.
DeleteSweet! So many things happening on Monday! (Mellow Yellow, Macro, Mandarin Orange, Blue) I'll have to click on your links and learn more about each of them!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Peter. I'm getting addicted to bloghops, and the Monday ones are fun, plus I can work on them over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteWow, I didn't realize there were Mellow Yellow days! That's a California native? Wonderful! Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteYes, I had success a couple of years with growing Poached Egg plant, Limnanthes douglasii, so I got the Centennial and perennial native mixes from http://www.theodorepayne.org that I am going to fall sow and see how they do here. I sowed a sampling of the annual seed this spring and have a few of the plants developing now. I'm hoping since they start growing in fall with the wet season that perhaps they can outcompete the weeds that also do that.
DeleteNot all or perhaps not many of the Mellow Yellow Monday posts are garden/flower related, some are paintings, buildings, cars, whatever.
This is a great yellow shot.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jim, I'm hoping Tidy Tips will be a great annual flower in my garden.
DeleteYou have very nice yellow shot.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Daniela, native plants are great.
DeleteLove the detail in your photograph. Such a cheerful bloom.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Blackberry Lane, I like the little white edges.
