Skywatch Friday, October 11, 2013

This is my first Skywatch post, linked here.

The sun flees away, a golden mist obscures the field-

The trees become lacy shapes against the sky, flaunting their silhouettes against the gold,

Layered dimensions of resinous greenery, obscured in the fading golden glow.

Solitary, I lay my tools down and seek the warmth of home, deserted by the light.

  7. I've never done a Skywatch post. Most of my pictures of the sky just don't do it justice. Yours capture such a beautiful golden light.

    1. Thanks, Alison, I was finishing up working in the yard and the sky looked so incredible, I ran and got my camera. I do have a long view to the west, but not to the east, north, or south.
