Replacing weeds with successful plants
Beautiful collection of yellow flowers! Great pattern on the petals!
Thanks! What a fun blog meme. I'm getting heavily into California annuals that can be fall sown this year, I grown Limnanthes douglasii for a couple of years and it really made a nice thick patch this year.
Pretty yellows. Have a fabulous week!Liz (mlc)Liz (yacb)
Thanks! It's getting down to the wire on getting my beans out and I had company last week, so work work work.
Wow! My very first thought upon seeing these pretty flowers. Glad there's a name for them that's easy to remember.Hazel
Thanks! The common name is Poached Egg Plant, which is really descriptive.
Wow, great combination! You really brightened my day!
Thanks, this was one of those happy accidents. The Limnanthes surpassed all expectations their second spring of reseeding, spurring me on to try more California native annuals and even perennials that do well from a fall sowing.
I love all your beautiful roses. I envy your talent for growing them!
