Tonight it will be below freezing again, but then we are supposed to be due some of that Pacific Northwest mild winter weather consisting of rain with clouds that insulate the ground and raise the temperatures above freezing. Winter has not taken long to be tiresome so I am going to indulge in some Dreams of Spring, visions of some flowers that I am awaiting.
Primroses-
Hellebores, whose down-facing flowers hide interesting interiors-
Tahiti-
I am temporarily without a camera but expect a new one soon, it will be fun to see what develops!
Happy New Year, Hannah
or cameras are macro
The tahiti flower is stunning!
ReplyDeleteThanks! For a fancy daffodil, it has done well coming back every year, I've had it for many years. It is very elegant.
DeleteBeautiful flowers! I love the hellebore.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gunilla! I bought a bunch of new hybrids last year so I'm really looking forward to how they do this year. Now I just feel the lack of a really good double one.
DeleteWonderful flowers!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm so looking forward to spring. The Hellebores will probably bloom first.;-)
DeleteThe interior of the hellebore looks like a mini tiger lily. Beautiful series of photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks, they are quite complex. I just wish the focus were sharper.

Things are pretty brown here too, so I like to imagine it is spring again!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Joy, tonight I get to finish up my seedling transplanting, it gives me the illusion of still being a gardener when things are so cold and frosty outside.
DeleteLovely Primroses and Hellebores! Beautiful Tahiti Daffodil, too!
ReplyDeleteDream of Spring is about all we can do - 20F at 4:00pm here in north Mississippi. Tonight's forecast is down in the single digits.
